Sunny Los Angeles soul with a bounce that never quits. 'Gimme Little Sign' rides a handclap groove that has been filling dance floors since 1967, 'The Oogum Boogum Song' is pure nonsense joy, and 'Baby You Got It' struts on a horn line built for lowriders. Eighteen cuts of warm, easygoing charm. The kind of record that makes a backyard feel like a party.
