Stripped-back, earthy country folk with a hazy soft-rock glow her people called "future folk." The John Prine-shaded title track opens on letting go of what no longer serves you, fingerpicked and unhurried. "The Architect" muses skyward over warm acoustic guitar. There's a strong 1970s Fleetwood Mac drift running through it, sun-faded and patient. Cut at Electric Lady in New York, it's her most cohesive-sounding record yet. Easy, lived-in, and quietly lovely.
