Miranda Lambert's 2005 debut: fiery, unapologetic country-rock with a chip on her shoulder. She wrote or co-wrote eleven of twelve tracks. 'Me and Charlie Talking' is dark narrative storytelling. 'Bring Me Down' is assertive and anthemic. The title track burns with defiance. More raw and aggressive than anything else Nashville was making at the time.
