After two poppier detours the Ramones swing back to harder, meaner punk here, and you can feel them digging in. 'Psycho Therapy' is among the heaviest things they ever cut, all snarl and speed. 'Everytime I Eat Vegetables It Makes Me Think of You' wraps Thorazine and shock-treatment gallows humor in a deceptively bouncy hook. The sessions ran chaotic, but the result sounds like a band with a chip on its shoulder and something to prove. Loud, funny, a little unhinged. Drop the needle and let it bite.
