Quiet, unhurried, and glowing from the inside. Glyn Johns produced it warm and close, Norah Jones sits in on piano, and Ryan Adams sings like he has stopped running. 'Lucky Now' aches over gentle strums, 'Dirty Rain' opens the record in a soft haze, and 'Come Home' is a whispered promise. Folk-country for a rainy Sunday and a second cup of coffee. Tender without going soft.
