Seven tracks that start hot and keep climbing until the whole thing catches fire. 'Down on the Street' grinds on a filthy proto-punk riff while Iggy prowls, 'T.V. Eye' is him at his most feral and unhinged, and the title track dissolves into Steve Mackay's screaming free-jazz saxophone. Cut in six days in 1970 with barely any overdubs, so the sweat and chaos stay in the room. A commercial flop then, the blueprint for punk now. Turn it up until the neighbors complain.
