Three intertwined guitars, pedal steel and a thick rhythm section, loud and loose like a great bar gig blown up to concert-hall scale. "The Living Bubba" runs six-plus minutes of road-worn rock, its refrain "I can't die now 'cause I got another show to do" landing as the gut-punch center. "Let There Be Rock" name-checks Skynyrd and AC/DC over full-crank singalong energy. Recorded for Austin City Limits in 2008. Gritty, warm, ragged in the best way.
